Water-Boy is about a boy called Bobby Boucher, who is living a life that has no future; he is being paid little money at a football club being a “water boy” and being picked on and laughed at for doing something so stupid being a water boy for a living makes Bobby look bad. But Bobby’s chances are looking bad after being fired he starts up again in a weaker club for free and basically getting laughed at again, but eventually his temper snaps and he goes crazy and tackles the quarter back.
The coach spots this and signs him up to the team his luck had completely changed but after hiding from his mum and making his team get into the Bourbon bowl he gets exposed by the opposition that he never did school.
After this incident Bobby went to the coach and got ready to say “why did you do this to me” but the coach thought if he did the exam he could play and that’s what he did. Bobby scored well in the exam and played in the Bourbon bowl and after being behind the Mud dogs came back and won the game.
At the end after the game his mum saying “foosball is for the devil” changed to “foosball is not for the devil its for my son”.
The movie ends well Bobby getting married his dad getting his head kicked in by his mum and earning respect from his team.
